About Us

Bump to Beyond Ltd is owner by Deborah Schofield. The business began as Mummy Massage and Physiotherapy Clinic in 2013 and changed to Bump to Beyond in October 2019. We have two clinics,  Sale town (M33) and Rochdale (OL12). We are a specialist women's health clinic striving to improve the standard of care offered to pregnant, post-natal/ peri to post menopausal women (from bump to beyond!!!)

 Deborah  Studied Physiotherapy at the University of Salford and received a first class honours in 2009. Deborah's passion has always been working with pregnant/post-natal and peri to post menopausal women and therefore worked in the women's health physiotherapy departments of central manchester university hospital and the university of south manchester hospital. She left a senior women's health NHS post in 2018 to concentrate solely on her private business. Deborah has attended many post graduate courses to further develop her skills including;

- The POGP's  pregnancy, post-natal and gynaecological courses

- The Mummy MOT

-Maeve Whelan's advanced pelvic floor techniques

-Michelle Lyons Perinatal rehabilitation


-Howard Turner's SIJ dysfunction

-Visceral manipulation

-POGP lower bowel dysfunction

-APPI matwork and ante/postnatal pilates courses

-Pregnancy massage accredited diploma certificate.

Deborah also has a love of both the holistic therapies and manual therapies and has 13 years experience of providing holistic therapy treatments. She is a member of the chartered society of physiotherapy, a member of the POGP and a recognised professional on the HCPC register . Deborah works full time across both Sale and Rochdale locations.















Rebecca has worked for us since December 2018. She studied Physiotherapy at the University of Salford and received a first class honours degree in 2012. Having worked at different areas at Rotal Bolton Hospital , she realised her passion was working with pre and post natal women doing women's health physiotherapy. Rebecca has been a patient herself following the birth of her 2nd child and so realises how important it is for women to seek expertise help to ensure they are not left with any long term problems. Rebecca has done the Mummy MOT training and a level 3 diploma in body massage. She is a member of the CSP.

Rebecca works Monday evenings at the Sale Clinic. 

Maria Starting working for us in June 2019. Maria began her career in sport, working as a massage therapist in professional footballs clubs as well as working at the London 2012 Olympics and in California at a prestigious college with an American football team. She then went on to study Physiotherapy and qualified a with first class honours degree from the University of Salford in 2013. Whilst working in the NHS Maria found another passion, working in Women’s Health. She has both a working and personal knowledge and experience of pregnancy and post natal problems and has channelled this into her work. She has a love for both manual and holistic therapies and given her varied background is able use these expertise to tailor each individual treatment. Maria is level 4 trained in sports massage, a qualified Mummy MOT Practitioner and is a member of the chartered society of physiotherapy.
Maria works at our Sale Clinic on Saturdays.
Sarah Hill
Women's Health Physiotherapist, Aqua natal instructor


Sarah started working for us in October 2019, Sarah is a Women’s Heath Physiotherapist with over 7 years NHS experience within this speciality. She is a  mum of 2, and work both in the NHS and at privately with us. She has experience with pregnant and post natal ladies with pelvic pain, tummy muscle separation, and pelvic floor dysfunction. This includes pelvic floor exercises, urinary and faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and painful intercourse. She also teaches aquanatal classes 3 x weekly in the South Manchester areas. These classes include cardio, strength training, stretching and of course pelvic floor exercises! She is passionate that women should be able to enjoy their pregnancies and new babies without pain or pelvic floor dysfunction. She wants to empower women to feel in control of their bladder and bowel, to be confident with pelvic floor exercises and enjoy life! Sarah works at out Sale clinic on Monday mornings.

Sandra Taylor
Holistic and wellbeing therapist.


Sandra started working for us in October 2019. She is a holistic and wellbeing therapist. Sandra began her journey of learning holistic ways of life around 15 years ago as reiki especially had a profound impact on her life, helping her through anxiety and depression. Sandra has always had a strong urge to help people and realised this was her life purpose. Subsequently she has been on a ongoing learning journey, studying hypnotherapy and many other courses which all combine wellbeing and positivity.She feels very privileged she can now offer these treatments and therapies for body and mind. Sandra works Mondays, Weds, Thurs and Fridays in the Sale clinic.
